NYT: Lounging with a Complexion Queen

Curious as to how my Sunday routine compares to that of fancy Dr. Patricia Wexler's:

Radio, Bathroom Dance, Breakfast I wake up and turn on the radio always. I usually have it set to the pop stations, and usually they are going through the week's countdown on Sunday mornings. It's a good way to wake up my still-sleepy brain. I like to shake out that excess grogginess by jamming out a bit while I brush my teeth. Breakfast is simple: today it was a pear and a slice of brie.

Coffee, News Apparently it takes a lot to get me awake (not really a morning person), so coffee is key. I brew a fresh cup every morning; recently my coffee of choice has been Starbuck's Verona Bold blend. I add a bit of soymilk to my java, and get on google reader to peruse the day's news.

Study, Email/Facebook breaks By Sunday I am usually behind on my studies, again. So after my routine of 'waking up', I settle down with my books. I usually check my email and Facebook accounts way too much. First off, I do not get enough emails to warrant checking my inbox every hour. Secondly, I detest Facebook for being such a pointless time sink, but I'm addicted nonetheless.

Late lunch, Balcony View Lunch is almost always around 3pm on weekends; I think this is because I usually get up so late. Lunch is a simple affair, usually just veggies and a meat entree heated up. I usually take a break at this time and stand on balcony, admiring the day and feeling a bit sad about how tomorrow is Monday.

Run, Shower, More Study time By late afternoon my mind is completely maxed out. A run can work wonders in reviving my poor, overused brain. After a shower, it's more study time.

Mmm...yeah my Sunday is not nearly as glamorous as Dr. Wexler's. But at least I'm learning more :)

I like your day better than the "Queen's", and think the pear and brie and balcony view are quite classy.
My day is church (always 20 min late, drink coffee during), then errands centering around food production for a big Sunday meal and leftovers, then getting blue because it's Sunday afternoon, then trying to sneak in a run, possibly "popping" into lab, then aforementioned big meal with a movie.
Off for the run now, and then cooking. Hope studying is going well! PS You've got me craving pears with brie now.
